1947 Willys Dual Rear End? Anyone seen a rear end like this with dual wheels.Any info greatly app

Has anyone ever seen a rear end on a willys with dual wheels.I am new to this so just curious.Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks Dale

Yes, Several aftermarket companies like JC Whitney sold dual wheel adapters for Jeeps. Willys offered a dual wheel option by way of some of their heavy duty Specialized Equipment. I have a Go-For-Digger Trencher on a CJ5 built in the mid 60's with factory installed duals. It is not like what is pictured above. Mine is a Dana 60 setup and the front and rear ratios are set up to accomodate the difference in tire size.
