Can any one tell me the year my Willys was built & etc.? it is a CJ3B 134F..as near as I can guess, the serial numbers are..57348 98342... Thanx for the help.

It looks like the 57348 is the model designation number for the CJ-3B and although the listing only goes up to 1961 it ends at SN 85317 with 17,000+ units produced that year. Just a guess but with your SN at 98342 it would be a 1962.

Iam about to swap a Harley for a nice looking (supposedly) 1956 Willy's CJ5, have looked for a site that could tell me what it really is by the Vin #. Can anyone help ?? The Vin # is 57548 28667

Needing some help as well with what I've been told is a 1954 CJ5 there is another identification number on the registration MD12877. Can anyone shed any light on the MD number? From what I've read it's a Willys designation.

I haven't been able to find any data tags on the jeep but noticed a large number on the lower passenger side of the engine. The numbers are about 3/4" tall and raised way out.

I'm looking forward to starting this project with my son and would really appreciate any advice.
