hey i just brought home my grandfathers 1950 cj3a that has been sitting in his barn for about 25 years, so i got a new project, the first problem im having is i dont know where the v.i.n. is. can someone help? and where is the best online site to get parts? thanks in advace.

The VIN on my 52 is under the hood on the passenger side firewall. Small rectangular plate.

The last post is correct, under the hood on the firewall, passenger side.
