well it's 57 deg in chicopee ma today. went and trailered my 47 cj2a home. i can't believe the things you can't see under 2 ft of snow. i looked under the willys as best i could. i could tell the frame looked good. the Ubolts on the drivers side where missing what i couldn't see where the supports that go under the floor. most of them are shot! i was hoping for a fairly simple redo. don't get me wrong I'm still hooked. it's just going to be later in the summer then i thought to get to drive it. I'll post picks when i can its nice to be tristin wrenches again thanks Waltr........don't be afraid to use the key board and post a comment good or bad. any suggestions or insite would help me. i am new to willys thanks again waltr from ma

Doesn't look to be a CJ-2A. Dash configuration is not 2A, and the windshield looks to be CJ-3A. Could be military. Good find! It's a great candidate for restoration. Good luck!

Dash is M-38, especially that little glove box. Windshield is also M-38.. Check for an engine number beginning with MC or RMC......behind water pump on top of block.

Might want to look for numbers everywhere and post details over on the M 38 board on the G 503.com ....M 38 would have been 24V originally, so it has been rewired by looks of it, I see the alternator which is not a bad thing. WHeels are later jeep or Ford.

Frame seems to have the 2A style top and bottom reenforcement straps tho. Weird.

Looks liek it wil be a fun project.
