Hi all and many thanks for the forum!

I just bought a CJ3B, I think:) I followed a couple of excellent guides and came up with this but am not sure so if anybody can confirm that would be great.

Couple of questions:
- I have a stromberg carburetor, is this original?
- I have an identifiaction plate from "Tokoe Motors" but can not find any info, anybody ideas?
- I know the alternator is Bosh (not original) but can you spot any more non original parts?
- Does anybody know where the horn button should be?
- I have a power cut off button, is this original?

Many thanks if you can help and keep up the good work.

Hello and thanks for writing. I will give you initial observations, but have to research a bit which will take a few days.

Just a guess about the tag,but many CJ3B were made in Japan under license. Based on the right hand drive, it has to be foreign unless modified in this country. (Seems like a lot of work)
As far as a cutoff switch..thats not normally seen. Usually installed to prevent battery drain on old electrically leaky vehicles. Horn button is at the center of steering wheel. Its just a small button. Wiring runs down the steering tube.
Ill post anything else I can find including if that Stromberg carb was an option. Usually they were Carter. In our photo section there are Japanese Jeeps . Look through them for clues. The tailights are different, also.

I am not finding a lot which can identify this unit. I am going with the Japanese version which it seems to be at this point. They were made in 1955 to 1970's (don't know year)
