Help Tryin to find out what kind of jeep i own

I recently just purchased a 1942 willys jeep truck and the body is an "LL". I had a person that contacted me and he had thought that it was a "quad" jeep. From the records I have found, that was a prototype. Does anyone know?

THe quad was a 4 wheel drive steer as far as I know. There are many out there more knowledgable in Military vehicles than me. Hope someone can help.

Pics please of entire jeep and data plate.. If you don't know how to post pics, let us know.. Basically host them on a pic site like Webshoits, and post a link...

With a little more info we might be able to help or send you to the right place. What is confusing me is the reference to it being a truck..
