Does anyone know if the Willys CJ-3A came stock with seats any color other than black? And did the rims come stock any color than the same color as the body? I have seen pictures of several nice restorations than have light colored seats and rims painted--white, silver or black. I would like to know what is the range of authenticity.

WIllys Overland offered some variety in the CJ2A lineup, but seems to have forgotten to promote the 3A very much. It is difficult to find much literature or info about them. I have owned a CJ3A for 21 years and don't know its original colors. I have many black and white ads that don't tell us anything. wThere were options and I can look in my literature to see if the colors were different from the 2A. That will take me a few days, but I will post here by next week.
