Hello All, just introducing myself and my project. I have a 1947 Willys that is very custom but full of old parts. It has a 1963 283 Corvette engine, 1969 Camaro trans, 1/4 ton truck axles and some other pieced together parts. It has been alot of fun to this point but I'm ready to update and upgrade. I hope to start my project back up soon but in the meantime am starting to put some ideas together for what I want so hopefully I can find some great ideas and help here. I know I want a go fast, big tire 4X4 Willys that is dependable and fun. No real offroading planed so it's mainly a street car to drive on the beach and just have fun driving. I live in St. Augustine and would love to meet others in my area that could help give ideas and tips so I can make it happen!

Hello Erik; Welcome to the website. While I personally have not done any revisions such as you have,I hope there will be other members who will be glad to discuss your mods and offer advice. Please post some pics if you can.

Very curious engine and transmission combination, 1/4 ton truck is what they called a jeep in the army so your axles could be any jeep axle.....what sort of TC do you have in there.....

Would love to see pictures of this beauty, especially build pics of the rolling chassis.
