Body And Bed On An Early Toyota Frame has anyone done it or seen it done?

I've got an 83 Toyota 4wd that I've stripped down to the frame, I've been wanting to put a Pick up body on it but I've had people tell me its impossible. Has anyone here attempted it?

Depends on the wheel base and width of the frame.
