I truely dislike small animals that eat wires and former owners with engine fires.
I now have a new to me early 1946 cj2a.
It is now twelve volt. It has a dash start press rod under the e brake handle and a key switch.
I require specifity here to fix this perfectly.
This will be my new daily driver.
All the connections under the hood are suspect.
From the Positive battery cable and every where else.
What wire connects where on every connection of every component?
It is cold out now so I have time to do my research.
Thanks in advance

Keep scrolling down the page and read it all....then get a large sheet of paper and draw out the diagram, using colored markers. By the time you are done with that you will be able to rewire your entire jeep. BTW you should have oil pressure, temperature, fuel, and an amp gage. No voltage gage. (and a speedometer) Sean has a bunch of electrical info on his pages, look around them and you will get a great education..
Do you have a 3A style starter with a pushrod thru the floor or the orignal starter switch on the floor with two wires attached to it??

Thank you for the link. That is the simplest and clearest example I've seen. I have it saved for my 48 CJ2.
