hey guys, new to the willys forum! been into the cj5s all my life but just recently picked up my first willys! its a 1956 willys wagon that was cut to look like a pickup. I ended up finding a guy on craigslist who has a whole bunch of willys truck parts including a really good cab extra hoods grills and doors (basically a whole rolling chassis truck minus drivetrain) so what i plan on doing is taking off the old wagon hack job body off and restoring this driving wagon as a truck with a shorter wheelbase since the mounting points are the same. hopefully by the end of this summer ill have a nice little truck to cruise around in! but the key to this whole project is: to not let my mom or girlfriend find out i bought another car lol
