Hello, I'm a willys forum newbie - I grew up with a '51 cj3a - learned how to drive on same - dad had cj2a & 3a - granddad had cj2a (dad was so glad to have a boy after 2 girls, he painted a big bee on the windshield vent door & named it 'Bill's Bug') - anyway, there have been others since, but none like the '51 - I am currently jeepless (if you can imagine such a crime) - I draw logos & cut vinyl that usually become vehicle or refrigerator magnets (anything from assault weapons to old dirt bikes I miss) - I've drawn the logo from several closeups, but need the exact size - you understand what it is to be a detail freak or you probably wouldn't be on this forum - this is just an old guy's hobby, not a business - I have a roll of green that's real close to the color of my long lost '51 - there don't seem to be any cj3as close by, or I would have measured them already - can somebody out there lend me a hand? thanks, Bill (wooly)

If you can wait for me to get home I will get you measurements and pictures later this week. What software are you using....I use Signblazer for my Graphtec and would appreciate a copy of a finished file when you are done, if I can figure out how to use it....(The windshield logo is 2A, the hood logos will be 3A..)And tailgate logo will be off a 2A gate, I dunno if I own any 3A gates and if there is any difference.

be more than glad to send graphics...I draw most stuff in CorelDraw, sometimes Adobe Illustrator...can send vector files (eps, ai, etc.)...they should give you an outline to cut by...if you need another format, I'll see what I can do...just let me know...if it's any easier email is 1timbercon@gmail.com...and to think people rag me for using 3 dots between thoughts (must be a Bill thing) thanks again, Bill
